where can i get a loan?

i have a lot of outstanding debt with family and my landlord. i would like to get a loan to pay everyone back at once and make one payment to a bank. my husband and i have aweful credit from stupid things when we were younger. does anyone know how i can get a loan for about $7000?

ok smart @ss, my husband and i both have jobs and are paying back everyone MORE than 50.00 per month. i'm just asking so that i can consolidate into one payment that may be less than what we are paying everyone at the moment

Seriously, even with bad credit, you can get unsecured credit (at a ridiculous interest rate) from a bank or credit union.

secured credit card is not an option for you obviously because if you get a secured credit card with a 7000 balance you would need to put down about 6000-7000 as collateral. So basically if youw ere to do that you would have the money to pay everybody back. Since you have bad credit at this point, I would concentrate on paying all your bills and reestablishing credit. You will know once your credit improves by the number of offers you get it in the mail from credit card companies. Until then make a monthly payment calendar and send each member a fixed amount every month. Make sure you send it to them on the same day, same amount each month so they know you are serious.
