What would you have done in this situation?

I have three good friends. One is unhappily married, the other two, are trying to work their mess out for face value. Anyways, my unhappily married friend confided in me that she had sex with my other friends husband. She has genital herpes and they did not use protection. I felt compelled for his health nd his wifes to tell him, but I felt it was not my place and kept my mouth shut. Did I do the wrong thing in this instance? What would you have done?

I think you that you should have told him because not only is it his health but that of his wife's. I think I would have told my friend.

First off it's messed up that she cheated, but to have the genital herpes and have unprotected sex. She should really have the responsiblity put on her head to tell him. She should know better than that.

It would be really really difficult to tell them, but you need to. Just image if they both got herpes and found out later how devastating that would be to them and their lives. Could you really live with knowing that you could have told them and warned them instead of knowing and doing nothing? I think you should tell them...right now.

I would definitely tell.

Keep in mind that it is not just them sleeping together.
It is each of their spouses.
And whom ever each of them sleeps with in the future.

And if they slept together and cheated on their spouses then the spouses DAMN SURE DESERVE to know that they have been put in jeopardy of catching it.

I would ditch the whore and let the wife and husband know.....................there is no since in them suffering because of their (hopefully ) soon to be ex. It would be horrible not to say anything

OMG ! You HAVE to tell them ! Things will blow up where THAT skank is concerned, but who needs anyone like that in their life ?
