Have that criminals baby?

First of all let me say this. I PERSONALLY think that abortion is wrong and unethical. If I were rapped I would have the child, because that is still MY child. And I love All children b/c no matter how they come into this world they are all special.

With that said, I know that you cannot legislate morality. And just because I find something unethical and immoral doesnt mean that my veiws should be shoved off on to some one else. And know that, that door swings both ways.
My best friend had an abortion, I let her know I didnt agree with it, but once she said it was her decision I was there for her.

Each person is different, each person has a certain threshold for what they can handle or not. That is why we live in the USA, because we are allowed to make those choices good or bad, wrong or right.
We also have to pay for those choices that are bad/wrong, and are rewarded for the good/right choices all through out our lives.

So who are we to condem on person for being against abortion or another for being for. It all evens out in the end.

well i definately dont think it should be illegal, because in some circumstances, like rape, it should be an option. on the other hand though, i dont think people should use it as a form of birth control, like the women who have unprotected sex all the time and have multiple abortions, that is just wrong. but about the baby rather dying than having a mother who didnt want them, i wouldnt say that much. there is always the option to put the child up for adoption if the mother really does not want the child, or once the mother sees the baby her whole mindset will change and she will love the baby unconditionally.

Many years ago I had a student that got rape by her uncle, she got pregnant from this. The poor girl was only in the 7th grade and her mother made her have the baby. Her live was a living hell for 9 months, the other student talked about her and after she had the baby she relived the rape over again and again. So after seeing what that girl had to go throught I decide I would be pro-choice.

Abortion is a woman's decision to make. I don't condem her but I myself could not do it. I was faced with the decision and I chose to have my child. She has been the joy of my life. However, I was not raped. If a woman who is raped decided to have an abortion I believe that decision is between her and her God. There are many ways to look at having the baby. The child would be totally innocent of the act. There are PLENTY of couples who want newborns. I am pro-choice but not pro-abortion. (Republicans will try and say it's the same thing though.)

I hope you're ready for the backlash you are about to receive from other people. Me? I agree with you 100 %. I think abortion should be legal for the reason of rape and incest. But I think that as adult humans, we should all be responsible for our own choices in life, even if others don't agree with them. If I am old enough to vote, drink, drive and die for my country, then I think I can decide what happens in MY life.

I do understand the defense of the pro-lifers out there (you can't defend your position if you don't know the opponent's, right?), but I think that the choice should be left to the ones that have to live with the consequences of that decision. If the decision does not directly affect you or your quality of life, then I think that your decision and input is not needed.

Personally, I would not have one. I don't think it is right for me. But I do think that making it illegal would mean that there would be no regulation of it, and that would still result in the loss of lives. So pro-life people - there is no "bright side" of this argument. Sorry.

I don't necessarily support abortion, but I do support a woman's choice. I don't think it's the government's place to decide for me what to do. I don't think it's anyone else's business either. These pro life people just want the kids born. They don't care about them after they're born. They can sit in foster care their whole childhoods just as long as they're born. You don't see many of them adopting these unwanted babies.

I am pro-choice. If I got pregnant and I did not want to have a child I would get an abortion. It is my body, it is my choice. I do not think that anyone should decide what is best for me- I am capable of making my own choices and decisions.

i am pro choice, though i am not going into all the details, i think some women abuse this option waaaay tooo much, but it is necassay in some instances, all different situations, and if i were raped i wouldnt want that baby, sad to say but no, that would be the only time i personally would abort without health reasons

Adoption is a powerful tool. Aborting babies to save the mothers life is acceptable or even from rape. Just because women choose to open their legs and get pregnant is not a reason to abort babies. If a woman doesn't want kids, she should get spade or neutered.

If males bore the children, abortion would be a guaranteed freedom in the Bill of Rights. What right does anyone have to tell a woman she must have and care for an unwanted, unloved child.
