Well, the mission WAS accomplished - we ousted Saddam Hussein, toppled the Iraqi Republican Guard and his Baathist regime and captured Baghdad. Indeed, that was the end of major combat operations. What we are seeing now is an insurgency that was ill-planned for during the planning stages of the war and we have to backtrack and figure out how to defeat them now. There are numerous good articles on how to go about doing so and I believe by sending more troops there and taking back the so-called "Sunni Triangle", particularly Ramadi, we are making good progress.

He never passes up a photo op. It seems to work...there are so many people on here who think he's so great. They probably think he flew that fighter plane, and that the ship's crew put up the Mission Accomplished sign instead of his "promotions crew" as I like to call them.
Every one of his appearances are staged and set up by his staff from the lighting to the placement of plants, etc. It's like watching a movie. Everything is scripted and the people in attendance are carefully screened and selected.
