My first one wasn't too good. Made some bad choices... allowed my desire to be with the guy override my values. Not a good idea. Then at the end of two years, I found myself in love with a lying, cheating, drug addicted porn star. I decided I didn't like my life with him and asked him to leave. He did. I found a wonderful guy and we have been together for 16 years.
I suggest dating around and finding out what works and what doesn't before attempting to "settle down." Just because two people have GREAT sex doesn't mean they are good for each other.
Most important: Don't lower your values for anybody. Your standards of decency are there for a reason. If you change them, or ignore them so that you can maintain a "relationship" with somebody... you will still end up lonely... and ashamed. If you maintain your value system, at least you will still have your dignity. Life is even lonelier without dignity.

My first real relationship was with a girl . . . my first love . . . and I was shocked at how natural, how right it felt! Being raised to see gays as abnormal and then coming to have a relationship with a member of the same sex was a huge step, and a wonderful one!

i enjoyed most of it until she cheated on me but the things i liked were the flowers and how she softly held me so gently and play with my hair all the things that are sweet in a relationship only better because she was a woman and it is so different then when a guy does those things

I t was ok, not that great. I didn't really want to be with her because in the beginning it was just an experiment to see how it was. I loved her though but because she let me do what I wanted to do and didn't keep tabs on me I stayed with her for 2-3 yrs.

my first relationship with a guy was amazing.
we worked together, so i saw him all the time, we'd take breaks together and... talk.. among other things, it was all i ever hoped it would be.
then one day, out of the blue, he decides he's "straight".
but you know, same thing could happen in any relationship, straight, gay, whatever.
to sum it up, it's just amazing (i know i overuse that word), but to know there IS someone out there, and you have that person with you. it's the best feeling in the world.

I loved it and I'm still loving. Who can treat you better, someone who is just like you in many ways and understands you, or someone who is always guessing? My first female love and I are still together after three years, but there have been ups and downs, but what relationship doesn't have them?

Mine was very intense. It was the first time I felt someone really loved me for who I am. I didn't realize until I met Rob how wonderful being in love feels.

I was very nervous at first but once we got started we didn't want to stop. Take it slow , be yourself, relax and let it come natural And you will know immediately if that's what you want.

It was great ! I could never consider any other option. The closeness is better than with a man. Because you are both women ...You both know what makes you "tick". Men seem to just think about themselves. It is truly a wonderful relationship.
Good Luck ! Be true Blue !
