I think it's great fun if you're with the right people, who don't take it to seriously, but don't treat it like it's a joke either. Who wouldn't want to be the Princess Bride or enter the Labyrinth or Legend or go after the Dark Crystal? I love those movies, and D&D lets you play them out with your friends. Good times.

The term "Nerdy mofos" is a sterotype. The real question is are you intellengent and imanginitive enough to handle a RGP of this magnitute? If you play RPG's in video games, what makes D&D more different? Now if you have an imanginiation and an IQ of more than a rock, than you can enjoy D&D. I play sports comptetively and can sit down and challenge anyone in such games as chess, stratego or D&D.

I think everyone should sit down and turn off the TV's and video games and play D&D. Now only did Wizards simplify the game over the years, there's so many things that one can do with D&D once you know the core rules.

My point to all this babbling is don't knock it unless you try it.

I think that we all need to realize that the world is made up of different people and that those that like RPG's are out there and those that don't are as well.

I am not going to come onto this forum and call anyone that looks down on D&D players unimaginative creitins or two dementional thinkers that need to learn how to constructively critasize without alienating people. But I will say that I am an attractive young woman, married, with a house and a car and a full time job and a college degree. I will also add that most of my friends don't play D&D, but some do, and I am their GM.

So for those of you that feel you need to put people down to make yourself feel better, pick on someone other then D&D players, we have had enough and do not deserve your scorn or mockery, anymore then you need to be told to pull up your pants walk like a human being not a zombie.
