I'd like it if the Green party became powerful in the US, but so long as we lack a proportional representation system we'll always be a two party system. Doesn't have to be Republicans and Democrats, but we can't sustain a third party.

A couple billion. Hey what can I say I am a business person and everything I own is for sell. (execpt my soul, and my family) I think my vote is worth a couple billion so that I could be able to buy my own place and survive in another country, so that I would still have a voice and buy a new vote basically.
What the GREEN party doesnt understand evidently that there are more issues than the environment. There are tons of issues. So when you start making a stand on ALL issues that we can live with you are wasting our time and your money

I actually voted for nader in 2004, who wasn't running under the green party, but whatever, because I really, really didn't think Kerry would be much better. I did it because I feel that you should vote for who you feel will do the country the most good, not the lesser of two evils.
Unfortunately, this country is run by politicians in two parties. They are human and will do things that help them keep there jobs, such as passing laws that that will only help their party, not hurt it. Thus, the idea of propotional representation will not be passed for fear of losing power. We as a citizenry must elect people who are above ambition, greed, and the two party system that will not focus on issues that actually need fixing.

I don't think it will ever happen. Most people consider voting Green, Libertarian or Independent throwing your vote away because it's just always considered Democrat vs Republican. It doesn't have to be that way, but getting people to vote something else would be difficult. I want to know that my vote is going to help elect someone. I know that voting something other than Dem or Rep isn't going to do that.

I voted Green before. The Green party is not recognized in Nevada, as far as I know.

The Democrats blowing the 2006 elections ought to do the trick for me.
This is their last chance in my book.

I will VOTE green (not join) when there is a graduated voting system instead of "all or none". Until that day, I refuse to throw away my vote.

I'd like a shiny invitation, commenting on my extreme intellect and my highly attractive body. I would like the Green Party to beg for me to join. I want them to plead, to yearn for me.
