Fire investigation is a tough field to get into, but women are just as capable of doing the job as men.

The three most common routes for getting into the field would be 1) through a fire department 2) through a police department (many agencies feel it is easier to train a cop to be an investigator than a firefighter) and 3) through Federal law enforcement (like the BATF).

Of course... just like men can be manicurists, wedding planners or whatever they want to be. Traditional ideas about gender specific jobs are obsolete. Contact your local fire department and see if there are any female fire fighters/investigators you can interview.

Actually, I read that they stopped letting women become fire investigators souly because the menstration is highly flammable and could endanger the woman and her felllow colleagues

Yes a woman can be a police officer too - these days a woman can be pretty much anything - as medical science has proven - she can even be a man :)
