Birth control pills can stop the monthly cycle if you skip the pills that contain no hormones.

But I would be careful in doing this. Your body needs to release this build-up of fluids and once you stop the birth control, you could have worse periods than before.

You mean other than having everything taken out???

There are types of birthcontrol Depo (makes me psycho!!) and others that will stop your period for 3-6mths. After taken them awhile you will not get your period. Problem is that after you stop them then you have a problem getting your period back.

A word of warning.. Beware what you wish for! There is a reason we get our periods and stopping it tends to stop up hormones... etc.

If you start on birth control a couple of weeks it will change the time that your cycle comes, other than that there's nothing you can do to stop it.

I have heard that you can do it with birth control pills. Don't take the placebo and continue on the next pack but ask your doctor or some of these ladies who take bc can tell you.
