I personally think Friends was the most overrated,don't hate,I just never got the hype.I think Scrubs is one of the most underrated,Zach Braff writes most of the shows and they are funny,sarcastic and zany!!

I agree w/ Friends, it was the same kind of humor over and over. Boring, I could never watch all 22 minutes of a single show ever. As for underrated, I think Family Guy. It's unbelievably hilarious almost every episode. I've heard a lot of good things about Scrubs but don't watch all too much prime time tv. Good q by the way.

I would have to say that Friends was the most overrated of all time. I tried several times over the years to watch it, but it just never "clicked" with me. I also didn't find any of the actors or actresses that appealing. For some reason, it seemed a little to unrealistic for me.
As for underrated sitcoms, "King of Queens", which I think is done now, but it lasted 8 years. It was just hilarious, Kevin James was a complete screw up, but I identified with him. It seemed like the first show that was really aimed at my age group 30s. Good show.

I definitely agree with you about Friends. Okay, it was funny, but it isn't the most fantastic thing I've ever seen. One of the most underrated for me was Arrested Development. It was one of those shows that was completely quirky and different and just didn't click with a mainstream audience, but it always made me laugh. Most really intelligent comedies are underrated I think.

The most overrated show is The O.C., Will and Grace and 7th Heaven, talk about crap.
Most underrated show was Arrested Development (how could it get cancelled?! that show was genius.) Scrubs is great too and it doesn't have nearly as much success as it should.

Have to agree on friends, but Arrested Development has to be the most underrated, I mean they couldn't last three seasons with one of the best cast's ever assembled on one set.
