I have lived in New York City my whole entire life and always use to ask the same question.I even can remember being little on my first school trip there asking my teacher that question.I have only come to one conclusion and that is because it was made by MEN.I guess the same people that made the statue are the same ones who wont allow a women president yet!!!!Not that men don't but we do look good so i see why man made the statue of beauty.
