Contact your local jockey club to find out who owned her when she was last bred/raced, but people deliberately sell horses without papers since a thoroughbred foal that doesn't race will affect the breeding statistics of all horses that are related and affect the price of future foal of the same family in the racing industry.

I count on that is her first foal? I can best provide you recommendation from my mare's first foaling, wish the whole thing goes all right meanwhile. Firstly, there used to be no bagging up quite, and no milk dripping (I feel first time mares mainly do that). Secondly, I separated my mare from the opposite mare and gelding, she did not find it irresistible in the beginning, and she or he would nonetheless see them, but if it got here to the foal being born, she utterly forgot approximately the opposite horses and simply utterly targeting her little one, and it used to be fine to head out into that paddock with simply her and the foal and now not have the opposite horses barging round watching for awareness. Thirdly, my mare had her foal simply on darkish within the rain, very rapidly and she or he certainly used to be now not sweating the afternoon previous to that. Fourthly, among all of the different indicators of foaling being close, in my case it used to be her hindquarters utterly exchanging form very just like a cows, which made me feel it used to be going to be born that week, and I used to be correct. Good success, and feature the high-quality time along with your foal, they're the cheekiest, so much wonderful creatures.
