My fish did that too Seriously
It actually comitted a suicide
it was an eel and i found him3 foot away from the thank
It happens bc your amnomnia levels probably were too high and your fish could not stand it and ran away or jumped
unless u have a cat and catch your fish with its paws...
That happended to me too...

Yeah they do that if you leave the front door open. Make some posters and draw a picture of him on there. Hang them around town and if someone sees him they can tell him to walk back home.
