the inside of my vagina itches and upon inspection i did find a little tiny skin tag type of thing, its not all dead skin becausecant pull it off. im not even sure if that is important. im not sexually active, but i did just shave down there today. i no it gets agravated when u shave but i shave pretty often and this has never happened. also, i should be just ending my period, its on the 6th day and it never last this long, ive been having my period for years so its gotten regular. anyway im still finding little bright red clots that ive never noticed before with any other period, and i dont no if this could be related to the itching. its really freaking annoying... any ideas?

It might be an allergy to the pads or tampons you're using (new brand, or deoderized?). Also, even though you're not currently sexually active, if you have been in the past, venereal worts can sometimes take a while to surface. Make an appointment with your doctor to get it figured out.

i know you said you are not sexually active but is that currently or at all? if you have ever been it's a sign of hpv. some people think they have skin tags and it's really a tiny wart. but then again it COULD just be a skin tag. not trying to scare you. your best bet is to go to the gyno and let them check it out. 80% of the US population has or will have some form of hpv (you can have it for a while before you ever know. you don't have to have sex to get it, just the skin of yours and an infected partners genitalia have to touch), so if that's what it is you're not alone. there's treatments and the body usually clears the virus on it's own. shaving shouldn't have any effect on the inside of your vagina so you can rule that out. the itching could be a yeast infection though. good luck to you. how old are you? there's lots of places you can go get a pap smear for cheap to see if there are abnormal cells (caused by hpv)
