I get jealous. Jealousy is when someone doesnt like the attention that another person is giving to someone else, rather than themself.
My 7 year old son is jealous with his friends, too. He doesnt like to share his friends with other kids.

I guess it is a feeling of being left out.

If you start to feel jealous, then its time to get some new hobbies, and busy yourself with other people and things. I think its a sign of neediness. If youre jealous, it might also mean that you are smothering your lover or friend, etc, so its something to use for bettering your life and filling it with other interesting things.

It can also be a sign of abuse and control.

I don't have a daughter... I have four beautiful sons. While I feel very fortunate and lucky to have them... I have had pangs of jealousy when I talk to other moms of girls who boast about "dance class" and girly stuff like that. I don't hide it though. I will flat out say "Oh you're so lucky to do that." I'm not ashamed of it... I'm not sad that I had my boys either. It's just human nature I think... to be jealous of something that other have and you want (or wanted) and can't have.

I'm an extremely jealous person. But it's because I'm an only child. It's the way I was brought up. The attention was always on me so I guess now that I've gotten older, I still have that mentality. It gets me in trouble now that I'm dating because guys don't understand although I wish they did...

I get jealous then I realize there is no need. Because if I find she has done something real bad then she dosent mean anything to me anymore. Basically cheating will relieve me of my duties as a husband.

Yea I have a jealous streak. I've calmed down a bit from that thou. Used to, when another woman looked at my husband for just a second to long I was ready to throw punches LMAO but I've quit all that and realized he loves ME not them and is with ME not them.

jelousy is very unhealthy just like stress ....fear....anger..ect however if you are jealousy over things you know should not be going on ...your asking the wrong question such as is this relationship for me?? if on the other hand its small things and you know the person is a honest one then you need to discuss why you have this going on inside urself...

jealousy is a feeling produce by your mind in reaction to your self talk, not the actual event...It makes you feel inadequate with/or are left out of/missing out on.The way to feel less insecure is to stop that kind of self talk..practice changing your jealous reaction to something more understanding of the situation..in others words stop making yourself feel bad.angry.hurt all of which = jealousy
