Both are important. But for me, MORE important is the last one.
Because I could travel to the past, knowing really what had happened and not relying much on history. I could travel also to the future, knowing what will and might happen. You may see yourself if you are going to the 'wrong' ways, and then you can correct your life.
If that can happen, it REALLY may abuse by many. Say I would go tomorrow, to know what's the result on lotto, go back to today and bet...

I think the time traveler would be more important, because they could tell us if there are UFO's in the future, or if aliens are real, and if we ever live on other planets, and other stuff like that. And if people don't believe them, they can always bring stuff from the future back to this time, or possibly take people to the future, and then bring them back...that would be AWESOME!! : )

Assuming time travel was possible, I'd say time travel. With time travel there are a ton of opportunities to cause paradoxes which could lead to the end of mankind as we know it.
Aliens, meh, we know that they must exist due to the massive number of planets in the entire universe, and the probability of life only ever finding our planet is naive.
Still, I'd worry about mankind not ever existing, or what if some wacko decided the Germans should have won the WW II, Freaky....

Time traveling. A UFO landing is not going to be all that surprising... sorry but it's true. Time traveling I think would even astonish the aliens.

remember, the time travelling issues have been explored just not proven even today & einsteins theory is 100 years & that's 100 years of great scientists working his e=mc2, certain unbelieveable things would have to be created in order to do that but it is possible that the theory would hold up, that's what's so amazing it is possible to time travel, we just don't have the means to do it & the scientists know this: that einsteins theory does have merit!!!!!!!but a space alien, even as worms would turn this world upside down, especially if they were living & moving around would make this place go bananas where as einsteins theory still has yet to be proven!!!!!!einstein wins!!!!!!

One event is feasible, the other isn't.
Given the size and complexity of the galaxy, nobody could rule out the possibility of there being advanced beings out there.
In direct contrast to that, static time travel is just a fancy. The phenomenon is theorized by relativity, and observed in particle accelerators, but totally infeasible for anything with significant mass.

More important to the HUMAN RACE? Id say a time traveler, because that would mean that we as humans discovered how to do it and built the machine to do it.

We'd still be human beings... still stubborn, still fallible, start trying to enlist the aliens or time travellers in our own petty disputes. No sensible alien or time traveller would have anything to do with us.
