Sounds to me like it's the battery. My suggestion is to take it to the cell phone retailer where you got it from (if possible) and have them test the battery, otherwise there might be something else wrong with your phone and it needs to be fixed.

I don't know why I'm even saying this, but did you disconnect the battery from the phone? I don't know if this would help or not. You'd have to connect it again before trying.

go to your service dealer. this happened to 2 of my friends. one was on a virgin pay as you go plan and she had to get a new phone, the other was on verizon and they gave her a new phone for free. it all depends on your service.

all you have to do is take the battery off the back,and do you see the circular sticker?If its red,it got broken by water damage.
