If you going trough the history you will see that many religions have being killed people just because their believes were different than that religion. Even in these days you can see the "wars" between different religions.
In my opinion, Hebrews are the # 1 in the list. They have being killing a lot of people under the name of God, Read the Old Testament, you will see the history...
Catholics with the Crusades, and then Spanish killed Thousands of Natives in America because they did not want to Accept the catholic Religion...
At the 80's and 90's the Fighting between Christians and Catholics in Ireland was a big issue, many died. The 9 - 11 Was an religious act... They kill all that people because of their believes.
Finally, the conflict between Israel and Palestine is a Big religion issue, they have been fighting for thousand of years for that land. Israel says that is the Land God gave them when they ran away from Egypt, they say that is the Promised land... The Problem is when they got there the land wasn't empty. People were they before them.
So, I think there is not believes to make any human being to kill another human being. At the time they do it, they are being disobedient to the commandment: To not Kill

Christianity. Its not the religion but the followers were insane in Europe and killed Spanish Arab Moslems and Jews and they Killed anyone who declare the Sun is at the center of the Solar System. Its doucmented.
I think The Moslems during the Turkish invasion came close second.
The Jews can kill whoever they like and it wont be documented, after all they are destined for paradise so why make them accountable? ;)
