Please note that this situation is on a much lower level. I have some start-up company harrassing me about a random e-mail address I've used for 7-8 years. They've given me no proof of Trademark .

First, find out if this other company has a trademark, whether it be Federal or State. I listed a couple links -- they're not comprehensive though, so just because you don't find it there doesn't mean it's not filed. However, these are free & great place to start.

Second, call a trademark attorney. Each situation varies from the next so it's best to get the advice of (1) an attorney that specializes in this area of law and (2) knows all the details of your situation.

Hope that helps!
