i got an email saying that if i forward the message, microsoft will pay me money??? is it true???

The real purpose behind the e-mail is to clog mailboxes all over creation by getting hopeful individuals to send it to everyone they know. It's a chain letter. There is no pot of gold at the end of this rainbow.

Of course not. Use your common sense, if it were true, why wouldn't eveyone be doing it and be rich? Don't believe everything you see on the internet. The internet is full of scams and con artists.
