Change your state of mind where you actually accept people like different things than you, do different things than you, etc. and well... accept it, and get over it.
If you've had a crappy experiance with a few gay people, I don't think that means not everyone is that bad.

just say "I'm sorry for being rude to you GLBT people. Like others, I have been brainwashed that all gays are sex only freaks with girly voices, when really most gays are nothing like that. I was wrong, and I'm sorry" and most will forgive you.

there is but one true enemy the devil. you walk up to them and say I'm sorry for the way I've treated you it's easier said then done but it will be worth it in the end.Hate the sin not the sinner.
