Is there any way to scan and repair the registry of an external HDD?

since i am assuming you partioned your ext hd.use any registry cleaner or dump it on your internal hard drive and scan it from there using any reg cleaner of your choice. this is not recommended.

Any HDD recognized by the computer as being connected directly (not network drives) should be cleaned along with computer.
