You should do some research on your cell phone provider's text plans. you could get a really good plan and tell him about it. try to persuade him into it and offer to pay for at least the text plan (usually they're like $5-$20 a month depending on your service provider and plan) or like do some chores around the house and be good and stuff. parents like rewarding their kids when their kids are being responsible. try not to go over your limit though, because your dad will get mad and he could take it away.
