I just put in a new abit kn8 sli motherboard and an amd athlon 64 3800+. When I turn it on, all the hardware turns on and the fans and harddrives work but there is no signal to the monitor. I was wondering if my graphics card wasnt supported. My graphics card is an ati radeon x1600. Ive already tried resetting the ram chips. Thanks for all your help.

Go through the motherboard manual again and double check, it's probably something simple.

You changed your motherboard, well, it's not booting. My first inclination is that you need to reinstall Windows because it will not boot if you change the motherboard. If you put the CD in and still don't see anything, make sure power is connected to the video card and all components are connected securely. If you see something, it's very likely you still won't be able to boot into Windows as you will have to reactivate the copy you have by contacting Micrsoft and getting a new license key. Microsofts definition of getting a new computer is a new motherboard, either way, you're going to have to activate or reinstall your copy of Windows.
