I have always believed that the most important person in the room is the one who disagrees with you, because s/he will be the one to make you think in ways you had not considered before. I tend to choose best responses based on what resonates the most with me as being the right answer for the question, whether I agree or not.

I am much more of an answerer than an asker, but I'd have to say I've gotten Best Answers for doing both. Sometimes, someone just wants reassurance that they are doing the right thing. Sometimes they appreciate a different way of thinking about their problem. Others are just looking to be pointed to information. I like to find questions where I think I may have something to offer, and if I get a Best Answer out of it, it makes me feel good.

Yes I would and I have. I'm 52 years old and I'm still learning and having my eyes opened to new thoughts. New ideals and ways of perceiving countless situations. Even more so now that I have been visiting this site.
