why don't you volunteer at your local library to read to young children. You could also volunteer your help at a seniors home. You could visit the residents, read to them or run a bingo game. There are so many organizations needing volunteers that I'm sure you could find one compatable with your interests. You could also get a part time job.Appreciate time when you're young , trust me as you get older it will race by.

Learning is not limited to school, nor should it be. You can go to the library and start reading -- read the books you know you will be studying next years, take out a book on the area of math you will be studying next, check out physics, biology, chemisty, read some history.

And if it is just the social aspect of school that you miss, get out and meet some new people!

I know what some "kids" do.. they go to summer sessions(usually two of them) at the community college... I am sure you have some near you. Personally.. I am NOT in favor of long high school breaks.. I consider it a waste of young people's time... time when they could effectively be put to better use by study and more study.

You should volunteer your time. If you like animals, you could help out at a shelter or maybe a vet's office. Perhaps you could help at a food bank or visit with some residents at a nursing home. These are all things that I have done and I enjoyed it. There's lots of stuff for you to do, you just have to look!

I can relate to you a bit! It's just u get so used to school and when you have awesome friends... it is so much fun! You need to get involved in stuff that you can see your friends in and call them when you can. Get together, go to the movies or the mall and hang out. believe me, when you get busy, time will fly by and before you know it, you will be heading out the door to your first day. hang in there!
