I voted for Bush, not because I am totally for him, but because I favored him over Kerry. I don't think that Kerry would be doing a better job right now, if anything probably worse. Now, that doesn't mean that I support Bush 100 percent.
His approval ratings are low right now, but those are just figures, there is no way we can know exactly without asking every American. I think there are more people out there that still support Bush than people think. Personally, I feel he has made some mistakes, but I wouldn't say I am "against him". I certainly hope the Republican Party can come up with a better candidate for '08. Perhaps Rudy Giuliani, John McCain, or Condoleezza Rice.

According to the most recent polls, Bush's approval ratings are in the 36-36% range. His disapproval ratings range from 53-63%. These are from the 'big three' polling agencies: AP-Ipsos, Fox/Opinion Dynamics, and USA Today/Gallup. It is pretty safe to say these polls give a good indication of how the American people fill, and probably vary no more than 5% than what an actual true survey would give. Bush is very unpopular right now, even among many of his former supporters. Probably the main reasons for this are the War in Iraq, various controversial activities (NSA wiretapping), and the price of Gasoline.
I hope this helps.

well
most americans are against some things he does and for other things he does
a president does lots of things and it is unlikely that anyone will like all of them
during the last election, more americans favored bush than kerrie, that doesn't mean they liked him a lot, just more than the other guy, we haven't voted on Mr Bush since then so there is no real way to know how many would vote for him now (and it would depend on who he was running against)
in a few months, we will start picking a replacement for Mr Bush
that will be interesting, don't you think?

Everyday I'm thankful that John Kerry didn't win. You can pretty much imagine how much of a mess he would have made with (1) dealing with Terrorism, (2) the economy (and raising our taxes) and (3) helping North Korea and Iran with their nuclear weapons development.
Damn, did America dodge a bullet in that last Presidential election! Let's hope we're that lucky next election.

Right now, I would have to say against. The margin was so close when he got re-elected that he messed up what little he did have.

I'm thinking against. I mean, even people that voted for him (a lot of them anyway) wish they hadn't.
