Never, terrorism includes people whom will give their own lives to take the lives of others and that is unstopable. Iraq has been a total disaster and the country is no better off now after billions of dollars, thousands killed, thousands wounded, and what has this Govt. accompolished....(Nothing)

Well if this "terrorism" can't be defeated by warfare how do you propose we go about it? These Arabs lie thru their teeth and most of the time refuse to negoitate or disobey their treaties.

No, it cannot. One needs special measures against terrorists - those who organize bombings, kidnappings etc. But against guerrilla warfare one needs to put up special military units which will crush them from village to village, just like old days in Zimbabwe and South Africa. That works.

It will be a war of attrition, until such time as terrorism becomes "unnecessary" in the terroists' minds.
"Violence begets violence" is naive and simplistic.
Violence.... swift, powerful and professionally executed, tends to end violence.
