My friend gets most the things she wants without having to work for it.I have to work for money to get what I want and when I finally do acheive my goal she gets the same thing or says it's nothing becasue she already has it.She also gets mad at me when I want to spend time with another friend instead of her.She complains that I'm not her friend anymore and whines to her mother who yells at me! Is this right? Am I being selfish? What do I do?!

well...i think your fren has a problem. she seems to be very possesive of you, yet she like to be better than you. I think she is emotionally unstable. Does she have little frenz? well. if it's true, that will explain her actions. You are definitely not selfish. I think you need to help her first before you can get freed of such torment.(^_^)

It's just wrong the way she acts. You work hard for what you want and she should act like it's nothing. As for getting mad at you for spending time with another friend, doesn't she have any other friends? She needs a life from the sounds of it...not to be mean but to whine to her mother who then yells at you. Maybe you should find a new friend.

Your friend sounds very insecure if she wants you to spend time with her and no one else. You should also consider the possibility that she spends time with you because she feels better about herself because she gets things that you don't have without effort. If you let her continue to treat you like this, then you're allowing it. As for her mother, next time she yells at you for not spending time with her daughter, ask her why she doesn't let her daughter fight her own battles.

no you are not being selfish. she is just a spoiled brat who is sheltered and wants attention all the time. and its obvious she gets this special treatment from her mom, tell your friend she has to get over it if you want to hangout with other friends.. someday she'll learn that not everything can be just given to her, the real world will teach her that. other than that she will live a lonely life.

The same thing happen to me. when is told her mom the next day.Me and my bfs were doing a school Xmas thing wear we helped Little kids and her mom.came up to me and said.That I was mean child. And I reminded myself that I'm not the bad guy.

she is your friend you should never be jeoulous of her just because her life is not like yours she is your friend and just love your friend for who she is not for what she gets that you dont..
