How do you answer the phone?

I have caller ID so it depends who it is. My grandma says, "Nello?". It cracks me up every time I have to try soooo hard not to laugh!

But my dad would always answer their phone ,
" Murphys' Mulebarn, Head Jackass Speaking " ( oh, so true...)
or
"Mabels' Whorehouse; How can we help you ? "

Needless to say; I NEVER gave my home phone number to ANY-body when I was living at home !

And " Who's dis ? " is extremely rude, and just plain uncouth. You need to get some proper telephone manners; because most people will hang up on you ....like they did my father !

i wish i was cool.

i have the caller id thing.. so each answer get's it's own tailored greeting.

most of the time though, i say "whatcha want woman?!/boy?!" as it IS a joke for most.

notice how it's "woman" and "boy"..

i say the boy like it's outta the movie deliverance. if you've seen it, then you just heard it in your head.

i think im going to start the "hola", "bueno", or "aloha"..
just to confuse some.. i already use the "bonjour".. as i am in canada.. and even still, that throws people off.

Well I'm very busy with the phone since I'm looking to buy an apartment. So I call a bunch of people and tell them to call me back about the apartment. So I just say "Talk I'm on a busy schedule!" lol

If it's my friend I say "yo, wad up?" If it's my mom, I say "yes mommy." Same thing for daddy. If it's my cousins I say "What a gwone?" For eveybody else I say "hello".
