1 Corinthians 6:18-20 & 1 Corinthians 7:1-2

"Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband."

If you are a Christian I think that it is the same as any other wrong, God doesn't judge our wrongs on different levels. Everyone makes mistakes in life and we all have to live with the consequences of those choices. It warns against have sex outside of marriage, but that is for specific reason and again because it can cause certian "unwanted" consequences. I think that being pregnant and bringing a child into the world is an absolutely amazing and wonderful experience. If you are pregnant and aren't ready to be a mom definitely consider adoption, there are so many people who would love to be a mom and a dad and are not able to. If you want to know exactly what the Bible says then go ahead and read up.

I am a Christian and think it's respectful to have asked the question you did. I hope that things work out for you and don't forget, everyone makes mistakes in life, it's what you do with those mistakes that make them some of the greatest accomplishments in life.

Unmarried sex is adultery and a sin. There's a chance the event will leave the children fatherless. It's also a sin for a father to abandon children. Having children out of wedlock can be corrected. The couple can marry. I believe a father can take part in a childs life without marriage. A single parent mother has a full plate to handle and usually, not always, it's a tough road to travel, more so before these civil times.
In many old cultures single women with fatherless children are abused by men and outcast by society, (exceptions of course.)
I believe that old thinking can enter into our modern social circles.
Such a woman is thought to be unclean and ironically the men find it inviting sexually, since the woman has no protector. On the other hand the father is free to walk and it would be shameful for him to take up with the woman, unless the grandfather to be is present to defend the honor of his daughter.
A sin is complex. The consequences of a sin involves many people. A woman is smart to be chast until marriage, and should not use sex to catch a man. They often do not measure the results of getting pregnant out of wedlock.
I personally wouldn't marry a woman with children, nor would I like to raise another man's children. It wouldn't be the same. I do love children very much and would consider being a foster parent with my wife.
Many men are indifferent about siring children with multiple women, (married or not), most unfortunate for the kids.

The more important question to answer is how do you feel about yourself having a baby out of wedlock. I had my first son out of wedlock and he is one of the most wonderful things that has ever happened to me. Don't be so concerned about what some over-zealous old Jewish guy wrote over two thousand years ago, worry about how this will affect you in the here and now. Talk to a counselor or a spiritual advisor (i.e. priest, pastor, minister, etc.) to help you.

what do you think it says? What does the bible have to do with what choice a person has over having a child out of wedlock (which by the way in an outdated term and politically incorrect). The bible is a book of fables, one book of fables out of thousands out there with the same "stories"

The bible says you are to be married before conception but mistakes do happen and if you turn your life around you can change the way things are and you are always a child of God. Ask for forgivness of the sin of a sexual relationship out of wed lock and try your best to improve your time with men alone. Remember that God is the creator of all life and even though the baby was created out of sin, he/she can still live a fully blessed life safety in the hands of God. Good luck and God Bless...

It is necassary to marry first, but all people are sinners and all make mistakes. You WILL NOT BURN IN HELL if you have a child out of wedlock. No matter how great the sin, there is all ways forgivness if you seek it. Christ did not come into the world to condemn it, but to save it. Who so ever believes in Him shall NOT PERISH but have everlasting life.

Well I am not sure what answer you are looking for, but I will tell you this. God is a Loving God. Each person is judged according to not only their works but the motivations behind them. Sin is sin, and no sin is greater than another. If you are preganant out of wedlock it is no less a miracle than someone whom is married. God wishes for us to be married before we give ourselves to a man or woman, but we are sinners and sometimes **** happens, thats why it is nice that God loves us so much and has such great mercy and understanding. God is good, trust him a little and talk to him about it, he wont let you down, and he will give you direction on coping from here on out! :-)

Fornicating; that is, sex without marriage, is a sin, and any child born out of a sin, is subject to bearing a curse. They aren't called bastards for no reason.

That being said, people are not to judge, let those without sin cast the first stone.

God loves everyone regardless of what circumstances they entered this world.

See a preacher if you are really concerned.

Don't forget to be kind to strangers. For some who have
done this have entertained angels without realizing it.
