illegal immigrants?

what are everyone's opinions on iilegal immigrants coming to america to steal--oops i mean take jobs from the honest hard working taxpaying americans who, by the way, get no say whatsoever in the issue in this democracy we live in???

in response to ppl's comments about doing work we don't want---that's crap, i did construction labor work, and on more than one occasion lost out on bids to illegal mexicans willing to take cash and half the pay--my father and fiance have also had this experience---one job in particular that we were counting on and was one day away from signing the contract cost us our home---mexicans came in and underbid us considerably, we fully expected to get this bid, then had to start over with bidding on other jobs and waiting for close dates and such--totally screwed us....my uncle WAS a farmer until they came and took over for cheaper---there are plenty of us who are willing and actually like doing some of the jobs they are taking--the reason they are taking them is because they vant do anything else here while being illegal and not speaking the language--so just because you wouldnt get off your lazy *** and do "menial labor", or "**** jobs" doesnt mean the rest of us wont....

They are taking jobs from Americans, yes that Americans would work, but illegel Immigrants will take less pay so they are stealling our jobs. I mean what employer wouldn't hire someone to do the same for less, even if they are illegel. Oh, we live in a democracy, I think the government has forgotten that. What do I think I'm not really sure there is enough room on this sight to put down all my views so I'll just say: when immigrants (illegal or not) come into our country they shouls be required to take an exam and PASS on the American language, If not, send them home. If they are gonna come here to work, they shouldn't be able to STEAL our jobs period. And they should be required to talk our language in public. They are in OUR country, talking jibberish no oneelse can understand, it is wrong not to mention R U D E , impolite, selfcentered, it's not that we want to know what they are saying, but, they should HAVE TO SPEEK OUR LANGUAGE TO LIVE HERE.

I have experience with Mexicans working here,
They have been good workers and actually seem to enjoy their work ,They are doing the physical labor that others that are born here don't seem to want to do, as long as there is welfare and selling drugs why should they do honest work?
Road construction, meat cutting, fruit and vegetable harvesting are only a few examples of the work they are doing. I say if they have the gumption to get over here and get to work, give them temporary work visa's but as for citizenship that has to come later. The ones I met don't want to be citizens and their families are at home in Mexico. These are men working to help their families. The USA gives away billions to other countries for nothing, or for them to buy weapons and return the favor by fighting us. I say the USA would be better if we helped our neighbor to the South to make things so they don't have to come here for work.

well thats the freakin problem of the americans they dont want to do the dirty work so ppl come here for a better oppurtunity at life illiegal immigrants take the jobs. american or not everyone has the same oppurtunities to get a job. u just need to get there first or b qualified. and some illegal immigrant pay taxes too! in reality with out the immigrants, american would b no where!

Any immigrant should have to migrate here legally. Whenever something is 'illegal' it means it is not legal and should be stopped and the person prosecuted. They should have to follow that country's laws, learn the language, and go through the proper channels of citizenship in order to work in the country.
