I've heard that some people believe bi men are just gay men in denial. But I know one who is very open and comfortable with his sexuality. Are you, or do you know, any other truly bi men?

I am bisexual. I am attracted to both men and women. I am happy with my sexuality. Bisexuals are really tired of having to prove their sexuality all the time. We face more discrimination not less. the gay community and the straight community discriminates against us.

My partner of nearly 15 years is bisexual. If he were straight he would have left me long ago -- and if he were gay he would not have had such a struggle.
We love each other very much, and he has made the decision to stay with me. Were I to die however, I have no serious doubt that after he finished mourning me, he would go to a female, at least for sex (he says he can't imagine a committed relationship with any other person but me, and we don't do the "lie to each other" ****, so I believe that's the truth). I'm alright with that.

Yes there are, because I am one of them. I have a boyfriend and a girlfriend and get it on with both all the time. I am very open and comfortable with who I am and what I like.
Some see this as a personal insecurity or identity crisis, but I know that is not true of me.

I used to be so stupid about bisexuality, and now I actually am thinking more open about it.
Like you said, I thought that he's just gay in denail, but you are also right, I don't think that's true for a lot of bi men.

I have been with women. I have also been with men. I am attracted to both. I enjoy the sex with both. So yeah, there are real bi men. Both gays and straights need to understand that especially the "tolerant" gay community.

I dated one for a while, and if he wasn't actually bi, his joystick deserves an Academy award! I've also got a couple of close male friends who are bi, and there are men on my bi e-mail lists.

There was a study done a year or so ago which you might be interested in looking up. As I recall, the experimenters took a group of self-identified straight men, a group of self-identified gay men, and a group of self-identified bisexual men.
They then had the men view homosexual and heterosexual porn, and, if I recall correctly, they used a device to measure blood flow to each man's genitals.
The straight men generally reacted strongly to the heterosexual porn, and not to the homosexual porn. The gay men generally reacted strongly to the homosexual porn, and not the heterosexual porn.
The self-identified bisexual men broke neatly into two groups. One group reacted strongly to the heterosexual porn, and not to the homosexual porn. The other group reacted strongly to the homosexual porn, and not the heterosexual porn.
That's all I remember.

Of course. I'm definately bisexual, and a guy. Personally, I strongly prefer women, but enjoy guys too. With women, it's the regular lust type physical attraction. With guys, it's a major turn on, and gratifying to give sexual satisfaction. With guys, there's no question whether or not he's enjoying what yer doing.

lol - I just had sex with one last night. Old friend from wayyyy back. Married and has 5 kids. Got together... one thing led to another...
He's very much bisexual.
