I don't buy the most expensive gloves so I'm not sure thats really your answer, especially if you're worried about expenses. I actually bought my last two pairs off of Ebay for like $10. What I do is usually either put a light coat of baby oil, like what has already been suggested or as soon as I get done with them, I'll put them in a plastic sandwich baggie and I'm guessing (since I don't have a real scientific answer) it acts like a humidor and keeps them nice and soft.

Well first off pay a little more 2 get a good set...also a pair thats not real tight to start with will help...plus put some hand lotion or baby oil on them (A LIGHT COATING) when your done with them for a few days---this helps keep the natural oils from drying out.

first of all you should spend a lil extra money to get a good pair. make sure they fit good too. then use pine tar on them. it helps so your gloves arent sliding on the bat.
