You can do whatever you want. Just because you dress punk doesn't mean you can't play sports. Don't be a sheep. Do what you feel like doing.

Punk isn't really something you "turn". So I'm guessing you mean if you choose to start dressing stereotypically "punk".
But let's say you somehow do "turn punk". It's an attitude. An "I can do whatever the hell I want, and if you don't like it, f*** off" attitude. So, given that, if you want to do sports, do it. If people don't like it, tell 'em to f*** off.
As to the third- I dunno about walmart. I guess. It's all about DIY. I've got a bunch of tees I ripped and recon-ed to better reflect my style. There's no reason you can't do the same. Money definitely isn't a requirement to be punk. Thrift stores are better though- VERY cheap, and you can find some awesome stuff. And if it doesn't fit- resize it. Simple. Or be sneaky and try it on over your clothes. Also simple.

The whole idea of being "punk" is to go against convention, so if you can buy it at the mall or Walmart it isn't really punk.
I was around when the whole punk thing started, late 70's/early 80's. Punks either made their own clothes, destroyed them, or wore thrift shop/vintage stuff. Alot of those kids were basically homeless, so they just wore street battered clothing. Spending money on clothing wasn't possible. There was no such thing as stores like "Hot Topic".
You could possibly buy something at walmart and make it punk buy doing something creative, like distressing, safety pins, rips etc.

I dont see why you cnat play sports because you want to dress punk. Punk is the way you dress, not the way you act, or do or dont play sports. No walmart doesnt sell punk clothes. You have to go to Torrid, or Hot Topic, or search online for clothes.
My 7 year old dresses punk, and she gets her stuff from Torrid XXS orXS fits her, but shes 7. I allow my kids to dress as the wish as long as its age appropriate.

Hell yeah. You will be the cool punk kid who's awesome at sports. Don't be a punk to your teamates or coaches and you'll be in good shape. you may run into some crap from coaches about dress and hair codes. You may have to make a choice. But if you can pull it off, rock it out.

You can be anything you want to be. If you want to be punk and play sports, you can. Punk is a style and an attitude-there are plenty of people who are punk (especially musicians) that have done athletic stuff and there are even punk athletes. (you can get punkclothes anywhere-thrift stores are waaay better b/c it's vintage and waaay cheaper!)

you can find some punk clothes at walmart but its kinda hard
and you are allowed to do whatever you want including sports
being punk is all in the change of attitude
hang around other punk kids watch how they act and what they do then take after that and add your own spin to it

Forget it youre already a poser. You don't just "turn" punk , or goth, or prep, etc. Unless you are a poser. They want to be something really bad and then they start worrying about what others will think of them and if they're punk/goth/prep/etc enough. The point isn't to do what everyone else is doing, its to just be yourself and let life take you where it may.
