Sometimes I feel like when I wear short pants people stare at the hair on my legs.And I'm not sure how to ask my mom to shave.

If you are a teen then just show her your legs and tell her that you feel self-conscious and would like to start shaving your legs. Explain that you think it is time and ask her to please tell you how to do it without cutting yourself. By asking her for help you are including her in your new experience and mom's like to feel like they are the teachers so by doing it this way you might have a better chance in succeeding. Good Luck

You want to ask if you can shave?
Just tell her youre going to start shaving. Say "I am going to do this with or without you, but with your help, would be best."
If she needs to shave, try telling her she looks like a gorilla, and that is socially unacceptable.

Just say "hey mom, I feel incomfortable when i'm wearing short pants because i feel like everyone's starring at my leg hair. i really want to start shaving now." then wait for her reply.

Just approach her with the question... and explain your concerns...
I think I started shaving at around 12 years old or so...

what do you mean? r u saying that ur a girl who needs to shave her legs and u need your mom to teach u..cuz if u r then just do it..she wont mind showing u...or r u saying ur mom is hairy and needs to shave herself..cuz u could tell her to shave herself or shave her while shes sleeping

Just say, "Mom, I don't like how my legs look, can I shave them?"
Or buy yourself a razor and some soap!

i dont think people would look at your legs, unless you point it out. if you want to shave, even though it might be a little awkwardto ask; you just have to do it.

I don't know how old are you, but if you already feel inconfortable with your hair on legs, you have just talk to mom, tell her you don't feel good how do you look, and you woild love to don't have hair on your lega, ask her how can she prefers, to sahve or use a hair remove.

WELL DONT ASK HER TO SHAVE THEM 4 U BUT JUS TELL YO MOMS DAT U DONT LIKE DA HAIR ON OYUR LEGS AND ASK HER CANSHE TEACH U HOW TO SHAVE THEM. I SHAVE MY LEGS AND ITS NOT HARD JUST DONT PRESS DA RAZOR DOWN TO HARD ON YO LEGS AND YOULL BE FINE. AND USE SHAVIN CREAM NO SOAP

hey well just tell ur mom that ur ready to shave dpending on how old u are then she will probably let u if u think that ur ready!
