Yao is good for any team. Houston will never let him get away, though. Maybe after 15 years of service. I don't think a man of his size can play for many more than 15 years and be productive. Getting back to your original question, Yao is going to put Houston over the top, with a little help from T-Mac (provided he is healthy), Shane Battier, and a multitude of role players. Greek star, Spinoulis should adjust to the league fine since he can handle the rock. Yao actually will get more assists and more points this year as the Rockets picked up a couple of unselfish, basketball smart players, who can make the shots they take. I wish we would have had a Yao on the team when I was with the team as a fitness instructor. Maybe I'd still have the team as a client.

1. No one uses the word "club" in basketball... Save that word for soccer and baseball

2. Yao is still god for the rockets... if he plays like he did at the end of last season and T-mac plays like he can and stay injurie free then the rockets would be a top playoff contender.

my reply.
It's okay to use club. They say it all the time, as in ball club. It's not used as much like in soccer, however
Yao averaged a double double in the second half of the season. T-Mac was unfortunately injured. Infact, both of them were injured. Yao is a good player. Right now he is training. I think he is currently with the CNT, getting ready for the FIBA World Championships.

He is good for every club in the world. If he and new signing Spanoulis get to know each other's game and play the pick&roll game then Rockets will do great.

my reply
If Yao, and McGrady stays healthy, they're going to win 50 games. With the addition of Battier, he will help out on D, play smart basketball, and hit the open shot.
I'm not sure about Spanoulis yet. I'm praying he is not a bust. From the videos I have seen, he seems quick, but not fast.

i think the only "club" he's good for is the club that made my general tso's chicken i had for dinner tonight......the guy is way overrated and only an all star due to the fact china has a billion people voting for him

my reply.
How is he over rated? I think he's Under rated. He was on the third team NBA if i recall. With the season he had this year, he could have made a case for First Team All NBA.
How did he win all those votes in China? He lead the league in PAPER VOTES. That means when people went to McDonalds, and NBA Arenas, the fans from all over North America selected him.

Tell me how one billion people voted for him via the internet. I didn't know that one billion people in china had access to the internet. I didn't know they had McDonalds on the farms in China.

Is he good for the Rockets. Of course, he's a good ball player. Is he good for another club. Of course, he's a good player.

Is he going to another team? Not for another ten years. I think he has been quoted as saying he wants to finish his career in Houston.

k, thx bye!
