That was mean and rude of you doing that to a person that you say is your friend. Put your self in their place, if they yelled that at you, would you not have your feelings hurt? You said that you are friends, so what happened, having a bad hair day or something and took it out on your friend! I think what you need to do is go to your friend and tell them that you are very sorry that you yelled at them. And another thing, why would you not want your friend around you?

Well in my opinion, I see it in two ways. Your friend could just be trying to see if anything is up with you if you`ve been acting differant than normal, so no it wouldn`t be mean if that was the case. Maybe she/he cares about you and it just making sure nothing is wrong. Now, if she`s just being nosey/annoying you then yes, she could`ve taken it the wrong way thinking you were just being mean. I would recommend you talk to your friend about it and ask her why she was following you. (:

it depends on how you said it if you said it with a attitude then yes but if you yelled it its OK if you really didn't mean it then you have nothing to worry bout but next time try to hold back and be a lil nicer

That depends on how long she was following you or what else she was doing. But, I think it is safe to say, No that wasn't mean.

There is always a gentler approach. Apologize for yelling, and then explain you need time alone.

Yes, you should say sorry. She probably feels more secure when you are around. Encourage other friends to talk to her too.
