Because the Lebanese and Palestinians do not have a lobby in the US paying the politicians for their support. Have you ever heard of AIPAC?

Don't kid yourself into believing any of this is about religion....it's all about money - everything, to a politician, comes down to money.

And for "dfreshman", maybe when you're a Junior or a Senior you'll learn about how the Palestinian and Lebanese governments were both democratically elected.

The administration support the Jewish state because the bloodline of the Americans are connected with the Jews and not Palestinians and Lebanese. Thus, support is being chanelled to the Jews rather than their neighbors.

Why? Why indeed. Ummmmm..... . This probably has nothing to do with the issue at hand, but "Vice President Dick Cheney, US ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton, and Undersecretary of Defense for policy Douglas Feith were all on Jinsa’s board of advisers before they entered the Bush administration." -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_Institute_for_National_Security_Affairs

who? http://www.jinsa.org/home/home.html

The USA has had very close ties to the nation of Israel since the beginning. We are very close allies.

This is a very complex situation we have in the middle east. Actually I'm more concerned at the moment as to who might support Hezbollah.

Sorry, Abdullah, we don't support terrorist organizations like Hezbollah. And, there's not many Christians in Lebanon. You're grasping at straws. There's more Christians in Israel.

Here you go, America. Here's what your tax dollars funneled to Israel are buying. (BTW: If you approve of this sort of thing, it's only because it's half a world away and "YOU" personally don't have to get involved.)
