MINES VIEW PARK BAGUIO CITY PHILIPPINES

We stayed at the Elizabeth Hotel right by Mines View. It was a beautiful hotel, a lot like the Venetian in Las Vegas, with excellent service and a fantastic restaurant.
It was raining when we went to Mines View, but it was still nice. Awesome view. I played with a cute horse named Rusty, bought some corn on a stick, and lots of souvenirs. The sellers were soooo happy to see me because they weren't getting many customers.
We also stayed at the Veniz Hotel on the way back down from Sagada. This place had great service, was a fine hotel, and was walking distance from all the night market activity. Great shopping. Lots of fruits on the street too. I bought a lot of bananas.

yes..thats right..mines view park is in Baguio City..everybody in Baguio knows it..
The park is not really a park..its just like a terrace overlooking the mining site before..but now..you can only see the view of villages and subdivisions..

I was there a few weeks ago. It's really gone down hill over the past few years. It is a nice view, but the shopping is much better downtown in the market areas. Next trip I plan on spending more time in Burnham Park instead. We did go on one of the horseback rides in the area. Kids really enjoyed that. (300P/hour)

there is no more mines view , what you see now is condo units and housing area when you look down in this area.we filipinos do not loves our heritage parks and museums, we are not into nostalgia, no memories for the past. that is how our government thinks from president to the barangay tanods , they served for the money and their own vested interest.

it's nice there , full of shops, and lot's of other stuff, it's nice to get a bargain there, but not the things like hi-tech, i mean like vegetables, friuts, figurins, clothes, etc.
