The opportunity is technically there, but it's very hard to sell enough to qualify for bonuses at most companies. In addition, it simply a horrible job. I used to do it. It sucks.
If there are any fundraising telemarketing firms in your area, work for them. The one I worked for only called people who had donated in the past. That was easy work. See if there's anything like that around.

youd make more picking up aluminum cans. besides who wants to be told hundreds of times a day what a looser they are. these people that do this are way to lazy to get a real job. then again, they dont have to worry about giving up there welfare check because of making to much money, because they wont make anything, absolutely nothing. these people have got to be the biggest loosers out there.

They get their money from selling the product. Even if 99% of the people they call say no, if 1% says yes they get a sale.
