LATIN! It is great for learning many other languages too, it is tons of fun (seriously, I've been doing it for 8 years), and the teachers really care about keeping you interested. It is great!

Goodness, this question turns out to arise approximately two times every week. OF COURSE it is time drinking, however you are at college accurately in order that you CAN deliver time for your reports. Millions of humans take joint levels in 2 languages. Of direction you will not turn out to be as fluent in each as you perhaps for those who had been finding out just one, however you additionally would not turn out to be with well advantage of 2 for those who handiest studied one. The factor at college is to paintings rough and do whatever necessary, no longer simply goof round having an convenient time. The more difficult you're employed, the tougher and fulfilling your paintings might be. I did Russian and Latin in combination for 2 years at college and handiest dropped Latin for the last 2 years while I was once pressured to, when you consider that of time-tabling problems. Simultaneously I additionally did English and Moral Philosophy. Nobody died!

Out of that limited set of options, I'd say German as it's the only remotely useful one.
