Like what the pay range would be? Im iin Illinois. But, after I graduate next year I plan on moving...anywhere I can find a good paying medical assist job.

Salary.com has a nice salary finder feature. I'm including a link below that'll take you to a page for "Medical Assistant" (I searched on the title for you already). All you do is choose your area of the country from the list, hit the "continue" button and the site will bring up a graph showing the salary ranges in that geographic area.

Well, coming from a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, I think that you could be looking at about $30,000-$34,000 depending on your demographic location. However, to be certain there is a book out called the Guide for Occupational Exploration (GOE) or the Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH). Most library's have them...I'm certain you could find out the information on the starting pay and then some! Good luck!

Depends on what state you live in. It's somewhere between 10 and 12./hr in most places.
They make about the same as CNA's.

My best friend is one is Arkansas, when she can actually find a job she makes about $10.00 and hour max...I know in Tennessee they can make about $15.00 at a good hospital. Good Luck

Iam going to school and soon to graduate I heard it depends on how flexable you are in your office experience such as front and back office
