They are plotting the death of their parents!Actually my daughter is goth and they are usually anti-drug,they are quiet because they see so many fake hypocritical preppie cheerleader types so they talk among themselves because they have no desire to even try to fit in those groups.

Goths are quiet because they are anti-social and usually hate people. They look different and "scary" if you will to the average person so usually people won't openly say anything to a goth unless they know them personally.

why not? why does everyone have to be outgoing? if we all were then there would be some pretty massive fights going on in the world.......and not all goths are quiet im not one but i know some and they are pretty out going........ i dont think it is wrong for someone including goths to be quiet.....it gives us people who are bored something to talk about on yahoo answers!

if your goth, than you shoudl know why goths are quiet, they liek to stay to themselves, they arent outgoign and happy go lucky, because if they were, they woudl be preppy, not goth, i love dark things and solitude, i like being around my close friends, but i dont run into a shopping mall and try to meet 100 new people, besides, you buy what they wantyou to buy in there, its a conspiracy, boycott malls!

idk? because they're anti-social? dont want to have any interraction? it's funny....because i would be considered goth but never had a goth friend. I wish i did actually growing up. I would have more in common with that person than any other.
if you're a goth, then why are you so quiet?

i used to be a goth i was quiet but i didnt know why cause they dont talk to poeple dont talk to people they dont know

Avoiding the sun make you depressed. I have to avoid the "heat" of the sun of all things. When the sun comes out, it feels like a blowtorch on my skin like a vampire. Pretty soon people stop asking you to do stuff.

Their not quite if you get them talking about somethign they care about.
Some of my best freind are goth. If you talk about your homework assignment, I'd be quite too.
But, talk about a favoriet band and they're not so quite any more.
