Sick of people ripping on Smoke
Okay, here it goes. I am totally frustrated, miffed and pissed off
at people who hate Tony Stewart. Other drivers do the same damn
thing Tony does but Tony is labeled bad and an asshole and a jerk
among other colorful anecdotes to describe his demeanor. I am ready
to blow a gasket I swear.

So Tony has a temper, so does everybody else. He's opinionated.
He's honest. He's a bit aggressive on the track and he gets sick of
media sticking their damn microphones in his face when he gets out
of his car. The man is claustrophobic, give him a break.

I want to see one of these buttheads in the media do what Tony does
with the pressure on him he has. He's a man for crying out loud!
He is not perfect.

If any man has ever had a heart it is Tony Stewart! Bad boy my
***. He donates money to all sorts of causes. He takes his time
with each fan when he can. His heart is broken over the loss of
others loved ones. He loans out his chopper and his plane to
friends for funerals, emergencies and weddings. He gives and he
gives but all people want to see is the side of Tony that embarasses
even him at times.

Give the man a break! He's talented. He can drive anything with
wheels on it and win. He's won so many damn championships in so
many different kinds of cars it's insane. He deserves some respect
for the things he does. So you're not a fan! Keep your mouth
shut. Wear his shoes for a day and see if you can hold your head
high at the end of the day.

I am just fed up. He is not gay. He is not an asshole nor is he
the other versions of that word I hear so often. He wears his heart
on his sleeve but I think he has finally realized that all you
people want to do is stomp it for him. Shoot me if I am wrong but
he is a man and he will make mistakes. He puts his pants on one leg
at a time just like everbody else. He loves what he does.

The media needs to back off a bit and let Smoke breathe. The fans
who don't like Tony need to take a better look at the man. I am
ready to kick some serious butt. One more person approaches me to
inform me that my jacket or my tshirt or my hat shows I am stupid
because of Tony I am going to go absolutely nuts. Psycho ward here
I come because I cannot handle people putting this man down anymore.

I am a Tony Stewart fan. I will always be a fan, even if he runs a
reporter over with his stock car. I have great respect for him. He
is my hero. If you don't like that, that is not my damn problem.
Give me some respect and Tony some and keep your stinking mouth
shut. I have stopped slamming Gordon and the Busch brothers out of
respect. Why can't everybody else?

Oh that's right because it's easier to put someone else down than it
is to look at your own faults as an individual. Get a life!

He has more class than most you haters combined! Find something better to do than talk crap it makes you look bad!

Yeah vegasdog that's why he has two Cup titles and more money than you and I could ever dream of having.(well me anyway) I am a fan of Tony's but sometimes he does react before he thinks. But anybody who keeps up with NASCAR knows that if you mess around with Tony,(like putting him in the wall) payback will be speedily delivered unto you.Tony is no worse than most of the guys out there, like Gordon,Johnson,Kenseth, both Busch brothers and a whole host of other drivers.Bumping and banging has always been part of the sport there all guilty of it every now and then. What really gripes my a** is the way that the bump and pass for the win has become all too common in today's NASCAR and again there is a large group of drivers who don't mind using this tactic.I am very hope full that next year's car of tomorrow might help with this problem. One reason they do this is because of aero issues it is hard to pass in today's NASCAR.The car of tomorrow is supposed to address that issue ,maybe it will.Yeah sometimes Tony can act like a horse's a** but if someone ran you up into the wall what would you do?

Tony's just being Tony. I'm a fan of Stewart and personally love the cocky attitude he has and aggressive driving style. Yet he will admit his mistakes after some cool down time.

Yes, I know he's all good in almost any track Nascar visits, but he's got issues of being to agressive. He's a strong driver that uses his car to much and risks other driver's car damage to get into a good position in the race. He's got to calm down and be patient.

The only time you can be aggressive is when the race is going to be over in like 25 laps, then it seems reasonable.

No. I'll admit that he can act that way SOMETIMES on the track, but off the track he isn't at all. He is actually a very kind, generous person.

btw, everyone acts like that at some point, it isn't just Tony

no, but i think you're a horses patutity for being able to think you have the right to judge, and disrespect someone based on what they do at their job..
he made a mistake..admits it. apologized and moved on, including having a conversation with clint bowyer (the original car in the incident).. so now seriously, let's leave it at that, eh??
and for those that claim he's said he's perfect.. you're off a bit. he'll openly admit when he does something wrong, but he's certainly not going to apologize for wanting to win, and doing what it takes. some people are too touchy about what they think is right and wrong on the track and are easily flustered with his driving.. but it's not between us. it's between him and 42 other guys.

absolutely!!! that was a dumb a$$ move!! and the "sincere" apology he took back with his very next statement, well he can stick that right up his big fat a$$. i wish carl hadn't lowered himself to tony's level, he's a good guy and knew better. tony is just a big fat jimmy spencer bully pc. of *poop*. i hope he has to sit one out and it costs him the chase. i really thought he was turning around, but nope, true colors always bleed thru to the surface.

Tony is just one of those drivers with a great team, a great car and he has no class. everyone makes mistakes but he will never admit to one and its always someone elses fault.a really great driver like Dale Jr. will apologize and admit when its his fault.
