First, take a shower. Be in the shower for about 10 minutes. This will help your hair get soft and your pores in your armpit open up. Then use a good shaving cream with aloe and maybe even sensitive skin formula. Next, use a clean razor and go down, not up to shave. You then rinse with clean water and don't put soap on it. After you get out, try letting your armpits air dry for a few minutes before you put deodorant on. Deodorant usually has alluminum in it. This can cause irritation. You also might want to try a salt stone (brand is Thuy Salt Stone). I have to use this because I am allergic to ALL deodorant. You use it like deodorant. It kills bacteria, but won't irritate you. Good luck

The hair under your arms grows in several different directions. When shaving, drag the razor gently up, down, and sideways each way to get a close shave. A triple-blade razor helps too. And use a shaving product for sensitive skin, following it up with some aloe vera gel after shaving.

When I shave, I shave first with an intuition razor, then use shaving cream and a quattro razor for a closer shave.

When I'm done, I put body powder on under my arms, patting it on, then wait a bit, and put deodorant on over that. I have some little bumps, but they are always there. Other than that, they are soft and don't look splotchy or red or anything.

Shave every way. Up, down, and sideways. that shoudl get rid of some of the hairs that coudl cause a rash.

If that dones't work, try shaving with the grain of the hair. That will cause less irritation.

Also, try baby powder or lotion to stop the rash. Scince it's summer, I woudl contribute the cause to the heat. If it's heat rash, baby powder (aka talcum powder) will work nice.

Also try a diffrent deodrant. I don't want to soudn like an advertisment, but the Dove Deodernats got rid of my rash, and smell really nice.

Don't shave under your arms hon. Apply sugar wax to the area, wait like 2o seconds, then either apply a strip of cloth and pull it quickly or do it with your finger. It doesn't hurt under the arms, at least not to me.

This might sound horrible but I actually just gently shave it w/ a razor. I don't use any shaving cream or even get it wet or anything. But gently is the key word. I don't reccomend it cuz I don't want ya hurting yourself. I've never had any problems w/ it. I don't even get razor burn. good luck:)

it's very stressful for your skin to shave regularly. try growing the hair to about 1/8 inch then going to a professional to have it waxed. even if you don't do this every time it really helps. if you go to someone really good the hair won't come back for about 3-4 weeks and eventually starts to thin out.

Put talc on your skin and use an electric razor - works miles better than shaving gels, creams or whatever.

The key is to have the skin bone dry - not wet or lubricated as many people think....
