I would describe red as exciting and happy. A loud, happy laugh. A tight hug.

Yellow is a warm blanket when it's cold. warm socks when your feet are cold. A hot cup of cocoa before bedtime.

Blue is a cool breeze that ruffles your hair on a hot day. It's a cool drink of water when you're really, really thirsty. It's a cool tub of water for hot, achy feet.

I would associate colours with sounds and objects that could be touched and let the person tell you for him or her self what colour they would like them to be, it would come from their imagination after all some of us are colour blind.

Not possible. I spoke to a blind artist when I taught art, he said colour is impossible to visualise when there is no experience of it.

In a strict sense, you CAN'T; what you can do is liken the colors to the sensations of hot, warm and cold.
