You ask them to remove you from there list.
By law once you do this they have to remove you and not call you anymore. If they do you can take them to small clams court and sue them. You will win.

Well, this is the second time I have seen this same question, not worrying about category. So here is another thought...
Tell them you need to check your notebook to see if you have requested to be placed on their DO NOT CALL list. Ask for their company name so you can look them up. After you get it, tell them they are now officially in your notebook and don't call back! Tell them that while you don't want them to call again, you might forgive them once you get the check for violating the law because you could use the money.
If you want to do this - you really should keep a notebook.

Tell them you are in the middle of trying to collect a sperm sample for invetro fertilization. Tell them you really would like to hear what they say, but you need them to do it in a sexy voice. Then just start making noices like you are jerking off, they usually hang up and never call back.

tell them to put you on a DO NOT CALL list. I don't know about all the states but there are some laws that after you request that and if they still do call, you can take legal action against them.

As soon as they call, write the name of the company down (I believe it will be a lot) and say them: Put my number in your do not call list. Hang up the phone. They can't phone you twice. Charge for that is 10 k.

when you pick up the phone and they start to say watever it is they are giong to say so u no they are a telemarketer then u start acting like ur a telemarketer and u called them...'we're introducing some sort of material.....etc etc etc.'

tedde had it right put yourself on that list donotcall.gov then if they do call u can tell them u r on the list and they have to take u off theirs am so glad they have that list I dispise telemarketers

Pretend you don't understand English. Come on to them sexually. Keep pressing buttons on your phone to annoy them. Or ask for their names and phone #'s so you can call them during dinnertime and see how they like it.
Or GET A CELL PHONE! They never call me on that.

other than the no call list, go buy an answering machine and get caller id and screen your calls.
