Naw, smoke cigars and drink malt liquor. Works for me -- BBRRRUUPPPPPP. Ah, that felt good.

Now, what were you asking?

Oh, yes, of course.

By all means, legalize it.

Did you know that on average, people spend more time in jail for pot than for sex offenses?

Something is very, very wrong about that.

It should have never been made illegal in the first place. Back in the late 1930s they knew absolutely nothing about the effects of marijuana, yet still it was made illegal. They claimed sensational stories about how it drove people mad and made them kill! And the unknowing public believed them. The deaths caused by alcohol outrank marijuana related deaths by more than 1000 to 1, and no one has ever died from a marijuana overdose. The same people that wanted marijuana outlawed stood to gain millions of dollars if it was banned. Those same people stood to lose millions of dollars if it was not banned. Ironically, these very same people who wanted it outlawed and stood to gain tons of money were the very same people that had the power to outlaw it. Watch Hemp For Victory. The U.S. government made a video urging the public to grow hemp in 1945 due to a wartime rope shortage. After the shortage had passed they re-criminalized it overnight. Doesn't sound that dangerous when it's in their favor does it? They deny making the video even though U.S. Congress has the copyright under the U.S. governments name. The copyright has since disappeared, but not before it was recorded in other holdings.

That depends, how is it going to be legalized?

-Medical and strictly controlled, no smoking allowed. I could buy this.

-Recreational, smoking allowed, heavy amount of education. I might be able to buy that.

-No restriction, just everything goes. I don't agree at all. Too many traffic accidents happen with the presence of marijuana to make me believe that this is safe.

YES and with the same laws as alcohol. no driving under the influence, no using it it public unless its a hooka bar or something. i think mary jane is a much better thing to legalize than alcohol too. it doesnt make u sick, it doesn't make people mean and it helps a lot with headaches, back aches and other pains. when r we going to get a president that thinks the same way?!?!?!

take care =)

Yes. Leagalize it. Regulate it. Tax it. Smoke it. People do it anyway, we may as well get money from it. It would be like the '30s prohibition, but potheads are too lazy and non-violent, not like drunks.

the answer doesn't matter...

it most likely never will be...

bc if the cops pull you over, they can't tell how many joints you've had... like beers...they can only tell your high...

And not knowing makes the government uneasy!!!!

the best you can hope for is to have some back problems and live in Cali

Probably... with proper restrictions & control. Just think of the tax revenue the government would collect.

YES. I have never touched the stuff, but what is the big deal? Pot seems a lot less dangerous than alcohol.
