OK so there is a hole on the front of most disc drives. And it is big enough to fit the tip of a paper clip in there. Like this picture...

The hole is in different places with most disc drives. Stick a paper clip in there and push a little until the CD drive opens.

There is a small hole in the front of your CD player near the eject button. Take a paper clip or something like that and put it in the hole and gently push when it stops. This is a manual release of the CD drive drawer.

Hope that helps.

dont worry remove the cd and close it
in case the problem recurrs, just tilt the cpu by 90 degrees and then try opening the cd
if it still does notopen, look for a small hole on the cd drive front panel,
insert a pin in it and then open the drive.
it shall open

well you may be in the same boat with many other people, your drive is shot. One last thing you can do is remove the drive from the pc, open it up by removing the screws. look for hair or other dirt in the gears. if you find anything, carefully remove the junk and put it back together.

Its common problem with Cd rom/Cd RW/Dvd

There is a round rubber inside it that rolls the cd rom back and fourth, i fixed mine few times by putting new rubber, but sometimes it get messed when you open it, so you better ask any friend who already did this kind of stuff. or take it to tech shop and get a new rubber.

hope that solves the problem, Good luck!

There is usually a very small hole in the front. You can open up a paper clip and stick it in the hole. That will open the CD drive.

Normally, most CD machines have a very small hole in front, and if you take a paper clip and straighten the end of it, and push it in that hole, it pops open. I do it at times.

if your eyesight isn't terrific you have got a confusing time finding the small hollow. this is quite small- yet each and every cd participant has it. the only ingredient it quite is long sufficient is the smaller sized paperclip streched out as as we communicate as a possibility. make sure the flexibility is off, then insert it interior the hollow and push till tray pops open.
